A Nursing Associate is a registered member of the nursing team on the NMC register and regulated the same as a registered General nurse or midwife, which includes revalidation, registration, and fitness to practice. The primary aim of the role of nurse associate is to bridge the gap between health care assistant and registered general nurse.
